REPLACE

EVERY YEAR – if replaceable 9-volt smoke alarm batteries, change battery every 12 months.


EVERY 10 YEARS – If non-replaceable 10-year lithium battery or hardwired.

TEST

EVERY MONTH - Follow the smoke alarm user manual instructions to ensure your smoke alarm is in good working order.


CLEAN

EVERY YEAR – Follow the smoke alarm user manual instructions and dust, vacuum your smoke alarm at least once every 12 months.
